HI ALL!!!

Haha 09/10 comm had our first CO prac as the new comm in charge today(: Overall, practice went pretty well despite the low attendance (because j2s have to study). Everyone, including our shortlisted DSA was very focused~ Everyone managed to catch 喜讯 quickly, even though we only had a brief encounter with that song for concert. However, i think we have mostly lost touch with 第二, so gotta buck up! Best if we can all "revise" the scores during study breaks/free times and recap all the notes that we wrote on our scores for SYF, up to every little detail. Find back that rockin' feeling, let's rock the stage tgt on 30th July! :D

Reminder: There's practice again next Tuesday 8.30am-1pm, compulsory for j1s. DSA and J2s, pls try to make it if possible. See y'all there(:

TJCO Gathering

I AM SO PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT TJCO GATHERING JUNE09 IS A SUCCESS!!!!! =)

THANK YOU ALL so much for coming and making the night so wonderful for the rest! Very sad to say, it'll be my last time having such a BBQ in Singapore with guests like you all, because I know when I'm back, everything will be different already haha
but who cares! This memory will stay with me :D

Once again, thanks for taking your time out to attend this function. Really really really appreciate it :D you guys were the ones that made it work out so well. WOO HOO!~

I need to extend my thanks to Seryang for his evergreen support, coming down at 1PM to wait for me and help me with the logistics! haha i was late, but he wasn't angry! So sorry! >.<

Last thing, I'm very touched to see you juniors grow to be so bonded and close-knitted as a family. It is something that I haven't seen for a really long time even from my term as president in 05/06. Please pass this forward to the later batches! 10 years later, 15/16 batch must be as close, or even more bonded than we are now okay! :D

Anyways, I'm going to be irritating and shamelessly advertise the BBQ again~ haha

How to get there?



Okay first, go to Pasir Ris MRT, then make way to Downtown East. From DTE, walk towards Costa Sands CHALET, and look for CARPARK A (whoa it rhymes). From there it's really very easy to reach Pit12 le. It's about 15minutes slow walk from the DTE Mall to the pit.



Try to have a little bit of food before coming cos I scared the cooking will take some time and you all might get hungry. Staple food will be available in small proportions as "appetizers" so that hungry ghosts (like me) dun die again =P
It's $10 per person. This amount is for the food and the spill-overs will be used for the next outing. So for those that wonder why pay so much right, the reason is to ensure that there will be funds surplus AND this will lead to more outings :D

大家好，比赛刚结束，我想此刻大家心情肯定也很激动，我也和你们一样开心，毕竟同学们为了这个比赛是付出了好多心血，总算我们的努力是有了成果，荣誉金牌是对大家努力的一个肯定，但我想同学们更大的收获应该是通过这次比赛所学习到的“团对精神”，一个乐团的成功是由每一个团员开始，一首乐曲的成功是由每一个音符开始，很高兴看到同学们在这段时间所展现的刻苦精神，当我在台上指挥你们时，你们展现出来的自信与热情的确感动了我，我时常告诉大家，乐器只是一个工具，不管你演奏什么音乐，更重要的是你的心要有音乐，第二民族就是一个很好的例子，jazz 的部份大家都演得很好，我们接下来还有音乐会，让我们一起努力再次把最有特色的 “淡初精神”呈现给观众，谢谢大家
